Conical Booleans_Grasshopper Controlled Cones

Building on my last post about beginning to investigate conical boolean operations on a solide mass, this last trial attempts to program variability and flexibility into the system.  Whereas the first trial involved self-generated cones places at random locations around a solid mass, this trial introduces Grasshopper as a way to control the conical generation.

The Grasshopper script is able to control the amount, location and rotation of the cones as well as their size and length.  Once the cones are generated they are overlaid onto a solid mass in Rhino and then carved away.

We tried using Boolean operations on both rectangular and block masses.
